Smile I cannot change Folder Attribute

I'm not sure if this is some kind of bug that come with Vista SP1.
After I have upgraded my Vista to SP1 when I tried to untick Read-only attribute it just don't work. Yes, it came up with the bar saying 'applying attribute'. And yet I have tried to follow the instruction on Microsoft site.

The instruction they gave me doesn't work out. Hope someone would come up with some idea to help me solve this problem.

    Thank.

Yes I've noticed that on my computer on both Vista & XP. Its just a protection that they put in place & shouldn't cause any problems.

It does cause a problem when I tried to run Dreamcast emulator 'Demul' (And yes, I own a legal copy of the roms). It says it cannot write system reg file. What I wanted to know is how to make it working.

I don't know about that. Sorry. I sound like to fix that you would need to change the attributes on the programs folder &/or the windows folder. I don't which you are trying to change or even if windows will let you change the attributes of either of those. That might not even be the problem. All I can think of is to reinstall the program. I hope someone else can help you better.
