    Printing Spreadsheets

I am running Vista Home Premium on a Toshiba Satellite lap top with a H/P Photosmart C5280 All-in-one Printer-Scanner-Copier.* I can not print out spreadsheets created in Microsoft Works.* When I hit print I get the message:**"Microsoft Works 8 has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. Close problem."

This has happened EVERY time I try to print a spreadsheet. Can someone tell me what is going on? Thanks

Does your printer work when trying to print other things?

Kevin, thanks for trying to help me. I can print photos from photo gallery or the internet, messages from the internet, documents from word processor, etc. The only thing I am aware that I cannot print are spreadsheets. My spreadsheet is Microsoft Spreadsheets; not excel. Tried to send a private message but could not figure it out. This site is more complicated than the other forums I use regularly. My printer is a printer, copier, scanner; everything works fine except my spreadsheet program shuts down when I tell it to print a spreadsheet. 11jay24

    Instructions
    1. Download the file by clicking the Download button (above) and saving the file to your hard disk.
    2. Double-click the KB933828.msp file on your hard disk to start the Setup program.
    3. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation

    Have you done the above?

Can you not find the file?

If not SEARCH for it (KB933828.msp) or Download it again choosing SAVE then Save to Desktop.

It should then be on your desktop.

jephree, you have been a world of help. I have been trying for weeks to print some spreadsheets. No one could give me any advice. Took the problem to google and found the D-A-L site. You took me right to the solution. I downloaded it but couldn't get it to load. Downloaded it again and still couldn't load it. Finally searched for the update, found it and I wasn't sure it installed but it must have because I went back to the spreadsheet and it printed. I am going to be doing a two-month exhibit of model cars and other historical automobilia at the local historical society museum and I needed a hard copy of the diecast spreadsheet to determine what to show and to keep a record of what I had shown. I will revise the exhibit about every two weeks and this will help me keep a record of what I have shown after I show it. I have no idea where you are Jephree but I love you man and really appreciate the help. Best wishes from one thankful West Virginian. Jay
