    Help installing Vista HP 64-Bit..........pain.

My friend just put together a new rig and he's trying to install Vista Home Premium 64 bit on it, but for he keeps getting an error. The error is (more or less) "No Device driver found for DVD/CD drive, please locate driver to continue installation."

Now this seems very odd to me because before that error pops up Vista was installing fine. It's not the drive itself because i installed XP onto the system just to see if it would work (Then formatted the drive clean). I googled the problem and the best thing i could find was something about the IDE ports. Does anyone have any idea how to get past this problem? I tried locating the Driver for the DVD burner and pioneer or any other website doesn't have it.

This si the drive in question.

    Help.

What is the make and model of the motherboard?

Go into the BIOS Setup > Advanced Chipset

See if there is an option/switch for 32/64 bit.
