I installed Studio9 program onto my computer (running Vista) and all was well for a week or so, then a message from windows come up upon starting to run this program which read "Studio program was closed to help your computer, Data Exection Prevention has closed Studio program file.
This was constant so I uninstalled and re-installed the program. Upon re-installation, a message come up "-SetFilter0error:OS version not set" but gave the option to continue which I did. Now the program wont start, just freezes with a message "a program caused the Studio Program to stop working, windows will close and notify of a solution" which it hasnt.
Looking into the program and problem section it reads Files that help describe the problem
Version.txt
AppCompat.txt
memory.hdmp

Can anyone suggest what I can do to run this program without it crashing? Thanks

According to Pinnacle you need to upgrade to version 10 to run on Vista:

I'd suggest upgrading.

Your first error was: Data Execution Prevention (DEP) which is a security feature that helps prevent damage from viruses and other security threats by monitoring your programs.

It can be turned off although not recommended:

Your errors post reinstall are all "Version" errors indicating an incompatible version.
