my laptop is acer aspire 5920G i gt this problem that my laptop is unable to dedect my usb hdd and use cruzer thumbdrive..i am currently using vista..there is no problem with my usb mouse but ther s prob with the usb thumbdrive n hdd as it does not show my hdd or thumbdrive at my computer removeable media.

Have you tried using different USB ports for the HDD and thumbdrive?

i checked the device manager it can dedect the mass media n thumbdrive . but it don seem to be letting mi acces to my external hdd and thumbdrive.

I sloved the prob ..this thread can be close..IT is the BIOS setting prob..
