    Question Windows Explorer Crashes

I am using Windows Vista Ultimate on an HP Pavilion tx1115nr. Every time I open an explorer window, explorer crashes and restarts. Somebody help! I don't want to have to re-install Vista!

Note: This has happened already, and I re-installed Vista.

What's weird is that this problem occurs after I launch MS Word 2007. Then, the problem just never goes away unless I re-install Vista. Help Me!

How did you reinstall? Clean or Repair?

    Did you reinstall Office?

Check your Event Viewer via Administrative Tools.

Open the System as well as Application tabs and look for red X errors that coincide with your problem.

Double clicking on the error lines reveals details of the error.

Clean install. I also re-installed Office. I decided to run a Windows Re-install again. Now I installed Office and that problem doesn't come again. For some reason, when I use Vista Ultimate for a few days, I get that problem randomly and I can't seem to figure out what I am doing that causes the problem. I decided to image my HDD to the way I like the system customized so I can restore my PC from the image. I would like if I could get some info on what causes it. Thanks for your help anyway.
