    Unhappy Vista Media Player

    Hi,

I've just bought a new computer with Vista Home Premium installed, and am having problems with finding my way around it.
When using XP on my old machine, I used to download short video clips in Media Player, click file, save media as, and save to my videos or my music etc. I'd then rename them and burn to a CD.

My question is, how do I do this with Vista Media Player?

Any help will be most welcome.

    Yes, that's right--from the internet.

How exactly are you downloading video clips from the internet?

I just click on a shortcut on a website, and the clip opens Media Player, downloads and plays. With XP I could then choose to 'save as' or delete it. I believe the downloads were saved as mpegs, if that helps
