BIOS problems with vista from XP on lenovo T60

    Hi, first time post.

Recently did a clean install of Vista on a previously XP machine. When i try to install The Lenovo Client Security Solution it says:

The Trusted Platform Module (TPM) on this system has been configured previously for an operating system other than Windows Vista. To use the TPM in Windows Vista, it must first be cleared from the BIOS setup.

Can't find the option in the BIOS to do anything about this and i can't run the security pack or run the rescue and recovery install. This security setup is integral to the rescue and recovery utility which i really want to use.

Is there a way to reset the BIOS, or the security chip/settings so that it can be run with my new operating system?

    thanks.

    While in BIOS:
Use the arrow keys to go to the Advanced Menu, select Peripheral Configuration, and then press the <Enter> key.
Select the Trusted Platform Module, press <Enter>
That should give you an option to enable/disable.
