Administrator Issues - File Access Denied ughh
I thought I did this right but apparently not.. or at least not fully.
In Vista Home Premium I am setup as the administrator and on my secondary drive E: (all of it is storage) under my computer then properties then security I have checked FULL access to the admin line yet I still get the Access Deined message when trying to delete a basic folder of files.
I also in the same area tried to apply full contro to the "users line" then hit apply and ok, but it doesn't seem to "take" or work, whenever I go back in and check the full control part (on user line) shows full control not checked.
When I go to control panel user accounts and choose change account type for my user name it says and shows I am marked as administrator yet setting those drive properties to allow full control to administrator doesn't seem to allow me to delete files on that drive.
I remember reading something about vista admin rights not being FULL rights but I thought I was setup as full admin apparently not cuz I cant even delete some basic junk files on my storage drive.
What am i missing or doing wrong here?

This is driving me a bit nuts, I have been right clicking on the drive itself, choosing properties then security then going thru each of the 4 listed group or user name options, each one I enabled FULL CONTROL and it apply and ok, yet I still can't delete the folder on that drive.
Keeps saying "destination folder access denied" you need permission to perform this action.
I just don't get what I am missing or not doing right to be able to delete my own files.
