Kaspersky and Gtalk conflict(???)
I installed Kaspersky anti virus version 7.0.0.125 after which making calls on google has become a problem. whenever I need to make a call I need to exit kaspersky and do it in order for it to connect. The problem is of an erratic nature. I can connect to people (sometimes) on my network (university) on gtalk calls. this problem does not affect chatting on gtalk but affects sending files. It should be noted that on exiting kaspersky and connecting the call I immediately restart kaspersky and it has no effect on the gtalk call unless it disconnects and reconnects. I have noticed that every time I exit kaspersky (or restart it) gtalk needs to connect to the internet and sign in again...
Is it something to do with Kaspersky's internet settings and blocked ports or programs? if yes, what do I do.
The question applies even if the answer to the question is no.
thanks

The link you gave me says:
If you're having trouble accessing Google Talk, and you have Kaspersky Internet Security installed on your computer, you'll need to adjust your settings. Here's how:
1. Right-click the Kaspersky icon on the taskbar.
2. Click Settings. (This opens the Settings interface.)
3. Under the Service section in the menu on the left side of the interface, choose Network settings.
4. On the right side, click the radio button 'Do not check encrypted connections.'
Once you've followed these steps, you should be able to connect to Google Talk
Problem: my version of kaspersky (7.0.0.125) doesn't have a network settings option under the service section. How else can I do this?
Help asap please!
