My computer turns on in the middle of the night and when I check my computer, I feel it's been on for a long time. I can't understand why this happens. It just is on when I go check it. I'm sure it's off before I go to bed. Someone help please!

Look in your BIOS Setup for any mention of "Wake On" options and turn them off.

There are no setting for Wake On. I think it may be some sort of software installed on Windows.

someone might have hacked you network if they have the can choose to turn your pc on and off

Did you check Task Scheduler?

I have no idea what happened, but I just reinstalled Windows Vista and my software and the problem never came back.

BTW, my router is WPA2 secured with a key about 30 chars long worth of random Alphanumeric code created by a password generator.
