I have a scanner which I used with my old computer which was windows millenium. It is still working fine but I now have a new laptop with windows vista. I'm not sure whether it would be okay to download all the info about the scanner on to my new computer as it is quite old. Will this cause any problems do you think as the programmes are much older? Or would it be wiser to purchase a new scaner for Vista?
Thanks thought I would ask advice before trying - as don't want to cause problems.

The best course of action is to check the manufacturers website and see if there is updated software for Vista for your scanner. They usually update the drivers even for older pieces of hardware.
