USB devices not installing
i'm having trouble with all my usb devices in vista
whenever i try to install them it gives an error message as as
"Windows needs to install driver software for your USB Network Interface"
and theres an option to locate and install driver software
and then it searches for the driver software on the net ,
it is not able to find the driver software and says to "insert the disc that came with your network interface"
i don't have the disc so i press another button which says show me other options
i do browse my computer and it asks for a location of the driver and i just select c:\
earlier it was able to manually install the drivers but now it has started saying that it could not find driver software and is unable to install your usb network interface
What do i do?
i can't run any of my devices
and this problem of manually installing is also new earlier vista was automatically able to install the devices .

The way I usally install my drivers is:
1. Find the name of the device i'm trying to install.
2. Search up the name in google with driver download on the end.
Eg. Logitec Mouse v57 Driver download.
3. Download the correct one. Save it somewhere I can remember.
4. Go to control pannel, and press add new hardware and press search.
5. Then, make sure you get it to search that folder.
6. The driver should be installed.
Option B.
If when you download the driver it is an exe file, usally you just install it.
