    vista problems connecting with internet

i have recently bought an acer laptop aspire 5720. it has recently had problems connecting to the internet.

about two weeks ago the internet stopped working. Everytime i try to connect to wireless connection, it tells me that windows canot conect to the wireless connection.
when i try diagnosing the problem a window appears saying 'network diagnostics cannot run because the diagnostics policy service is not running.'suggests to refer to the diagnostic policy service. Everytime i try to conect to this, an error 5 appears.

Does anyone know why this it's occurring?? and any solutions?

I would return it to the supplier as it is still under guarantee and let them sort it out.

I have run Vista since it came out on a PC and I have to say it has passed my expectations but is very heavy on resourses, I am running 32bit on 4gig of ram but I do not how it would run on a laptop. If you are used to XP I would ask Acer if they would reload the laptop with XP then I am sure you will not have any more trouble.
