    Angry Windows Vista

I am having trouble pasting from the desktop into Paint. I want to capture an image through print screen, save it in paint as a .jepeg file attach the screenshot to an email. When I go to save as in paint and then on to paste, I get the message that 'The information on the clipboard cannot be inserted into paint' Why is this? Can anyone help please! Regards, LionJon.

the file or image you may be trying to paste might be corrupted or named incorrectly with the settings in paint. what is your image named?

Can you use another program? I use powerpoint out of all things cos it has a "save as picture" function.
