I have recently experienced an issue on Outlook where I can't receive messages but can send them OK after previously having no problems. I am not aware why there has been a change. I use an HP Pavilion laptop dv2000.

I have checked the ISP and the email server (I can read email via the web but just not with my Outlook) and there appear to be no problems. In fact I have the same problem using two different ISPs and email accounts on different servers. I do not see to have the same problem using an XP based desk top.

The POP settings look correct and in fact have not been changed.

Any one else seen this?

I've uninstalled Norton Internet Security (which seems to come on everything now and is probably the worst piece of software in the world) and things look to be getting better
