Using Vista 32 Home Premium

I tried to access the links given in my email (Windows Mail)and also to log on to my favourite browser but I get a message stating:

"Windows cannot access the specified devices, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions".

Up until today, no problem, so I guess I may have inadvertently changed something? Any suggestions please?

ensure you are running Windows mail as an administrator (right click on icon and select)
