Hey everyone, my laptop froze when i was on the net with my ethernet cable in, so i had to restart it. When it restarted startup repair came up but it says it cannot fix the problem automatically, so i clicked the send information about this problem and it says: If you have recently attached a device to this computer, such as a cameraor protable music player, remove it and restart your computer. If you continue to see this message, contact your system administrator or computer manufacturer for assistance. So yeah dont really want to do that beacuse they mess you around something horrible, can anyone help my please!?!?!

What is the exact make and model of the laptop?

Is it under warranty?

Do you have a Recovery DVD or is there a Recovery partition on the hard drive?

its a compaq presario f500 mate. Yeah its under warranty but i dont have time to take it to the repair shop work full time. I didn't get a start up cd because it was already installed when i got it..
