Hi,

I got a new laptop a few months ago connecting to a router and everything was going great. I had some problems with my B.T line which has now been fixed but ever since this happened I have had problems connecting to my router. What is confusing me is that it is on and off. It is set to connect automatically, which it does sometimes, and sometimes it take 10 mins, but more often than not it doesn't connect at all. When I try to manually connect I can see the router and the signal strenth is at its highest. When I try and connect I get this message:

"This network is marked as a hidden network and is either not in range of this computer or the wireless settings saved on this computer do not match the settings of the network"

I have tried resetting the router but this doesn't work. The message mentions my settings but surely if there was something wrong here it would never connect which it does sometimes.

I am not great with computers and would really appriciate any help.
