    Windows Mail

Every time I restart my Vista Home Premium system it tells me that Windows Mail, (my only email client) is not the default email client. It asks if I want it to be the default. Each time I answer YES. But the settings are not changed. So the next time it again tells me it is not the default programme.
The same type of thing happens with my Office toolbar. I don't want it to appear. When I close it it asks if I want it to appear next time. I choose NO. Yet it appears again the next time I start up! Anyone any ideas why?

Thanks for the link. I tried using the set defaults in Set Program Access. All it offers is "use current email programme" and no ability to change. I have checked the registry and Windows Mail is not set as the default, Microsoft Outlook is. But I don't have Outlook on this machine. If I load it it won't run. Does anyone know the registry values needed for Windows Mail?
