Hi, im runnning vista with all the latest updates and i have to admit im a bit of a power user so most of my services are turned off. But since (clean) installing vista ive had the problem that after restarting for example winamp, it resets my windows positions, skin and playlist. I have the same problems with my adobe CS3 software, keyboard software etc.

Ive tried restarting with all my services enabled but it still has the same problems. Ive also disabled read-only for all my program files. An interesting thing to note is that most old software like winamp 2.75 keeps their settings after restarting, so it is only a problem prevalent to some new programs.

I know this is a dodgy problem and not having this problem probably wont make me a better person and since im probably the only guy in the world with this problem, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
