hi, i hvae just got a new laptop with vista. no problems for the first 2 weeks ( but i used it very little). the past week i am getting multiple problems . the main one is that program freezes in a particular mode eg 'shut down' . the only way i can get round this is to remove the battery, replace, re start in safe mode and then restart. HELP. occasionally i just cant get the the comp to start at all and then after leaving it for a few hours it works fine.

Use your warranty.

Return it.

Demand a working computer.

You should not have any problems with a new computer and should not be burdened with trying to fix it yourself.

If it is having such vital issues after 2 weeks then it will only get worse.
