How do I get oversized data to fit in a unresizable window?

I have tried everything I can think of, but I am unable to find the fix for this problem. See attached. I also do not know why the default scale line has a line through it. Is there some way to fix this?

    Is this a new problem?

    Was the display ever OK?

    Any new hardware or software?

When I installed Windows Vista Home Premium I began to have nothing but problems. The computer crashed every time I turned around. It was driving me nuts. After searching the internet for possible cases and fixes (I tried many) I decided to double my RAM from 1GB to 2, which filled all the memory slots. From that point on the computer has run smoothly with out any further crashes. I didn’t keep a log on all the suggested tweaks that I found and tried. I didn’t notice until after everything began to run better that the windows that are not resizable have data in them that are too large to be seen within the boarders.
