    Vista And XP

    Ok hi everyone, I was just wondering I have Vista on dual boot with xp and i now want to get rid of xp. So how do i remove xp with out messing up the vista partition? can i? Or do i ahve to redo it all with just vista? thanks for any help

    From Vista you should be able to delete the partition that XP is on (assuming it is not the same).

    Right click My Computer then click Manage then Disk Management. In the graphical section right click in the area of the XP partition and choose delete or Format. You will then have unallocated space. You cannot merge this space into the Vista partition if that was your intention. If you want to do that you need a third party tool. G-Parted Live CD is very good and FREE!
