If anyone can help me with the following it would be very much appreciated...

Loaded a Full Version 32Bit Windows Vista Home Premium on to a Dell Dimesion 2400 with a Dell E172FP Monitor.

It loaded fine and seems to work all right - without tempting fate !

BUT...

I am unable to adjust the resolution any higher than 1024x768 which looks terrible and unsatisfactory !!!

The screen resolution is capable of 1280x1024

The scroll bar in the monitor window will not move and is set hard at low and I cannot move this higher to adjust the resolution.

I think this maybe more of a problem with the graphic card but require some help...

When I visit the Dell support site it no longer mentions the Dell E172FP !

the video card may not go any higher than 1027 x 768.

have you got all the drivers for the machine?
