Vista and USB KeyBoard
Have a buddy that is having trouble with his usb keyboard not working during the Vista Boot Screen ? Unable to select which operating system to boot to unless he puts a ps/2 adapter on his cord and goes from there, after which when Vista or what ever operating system he choose's from the boot screen, boots, his ability to use his key board as a usb key board will start
functioning again with out the ps/2 adapter. Any Idea's? Thanks in advance for the help !

First off: why not just stick with the PS/2 port?
Windows XP as well as Vista load their own USB drivers in general.
The next step would be going to the computer manufacturer's web site or the motherboard's web site and look for USB drivers for the motherboard if you want these drivers to load before Windows. Whether or not this is an option depends on the motherboard's capabilities.

I suppose he just wants that option since he bought a USB Board ? I told him that thats what he probably needs to do. Some guys just don't listen and thought I would do a little research for this issue he's having . Thanks for the info any way. Much appreciated
