Excel, Word, Office 2010 question

No. And I cannot duplicate that either. When I open two files, both say non-commercial.

When i open one file the name in the task bar is like this

When i open another it changes to the name of the file

This is fine if i have two folders open as i can see their name but if i only have one i can't see the name at a glance

Okay, thanks for those screen shots. Now I have been able to duplicate this behavior and I suspect the thought at Microsoft is if you only have one spreadsheet open, you already know what it is. But when you have two or more open, to avoid confusion, they put the file name there. I can find no way around that.
Oddly, when you close one, the name remains on the remaining icon.
Do note, however, that when you hover over the single (or any) icon, a popup will appear with a small thumbnail preview, including the name.
