3 times in the last seven days after rebooting my Windows 7 PC Internet Explorer & Outlook 2010 would not open. I had to boot from the Windows 7 dvd and do full system restore to fix these problems. What may be the cause and how do I prevent this from happening in the future?

It sounds like the association for executable files (.exe) is getting messed up, probably by some program you installed.

Keep track of what you add or remove so you will have and idea what may cause it (if that is the problem).

Maybe you'll get lucky and it will not happen again!

Corel Draw Graphis Suite X5 is the last thing I installed.

Have you reinstalled it this time yet? If not, I wonder if the problem will happen again when you do install it?

Yes it is installed again. My PC will reboot at 3:00 AM so tomorrow morning I will know what the result is.
