Well you have certainly done your best to help and I now know I'm not infected and the temperatures are ok but unfortunately when I left it for half an hour after receiving your e-mail it shut down again.......... Computers, like cars are great when they run well. Pity himself has already bought my Christmas present, whatever it is. So it looks as though something is giving up the ghost - I must keep backing up until the ultimate failure occurs.
