Press the following keys in combination:

Windows key (between Ctrl and Alt keys) + Pause/Break key

Under system area box, check description for System type:

like buying a pc and the day after the warranty it up my video card dies, which has happened twice. I just wanted to make sure everything is what it's suppose to be this time around. I tend to overlook the little things

Not likely a 64 bit issue.

Were both cards the same model? Did you install them yourself? What was your latest model? Was your power supply adequate for such cards (often 500 watts or higher)?

What issues and/or error messages were you getting, if any, prior to their demise. Have you considered overheating as a possible source of your problems (often one of the hottest components in a PC)?:
