I use 7 zip and have been unable to unzip large batches of files since moving up to Windows 7. Am I simply not going to be able to do this anymore?
Thanks,
Sheri
Should work. Do you have the latest version? And if using 64-bit Windows 7, you must use the 64-bit version of 7-zip.
I have the latest version of 7zip for 64 bit but it won't do more than one file at a time.
Unless someone else reading has something to offer, I recommend you visit the official 7-Zip support forums and ask your question there.

I once tried cab compressor, try it.

You can use the free program 7-Zip to do this:
7-Zip
I believe you have to download their latest Beta version 9.0x to use it with Windows 7.
The latest versions as of 12/12/2009 can be downloaded from here:
If you have 32-Bit Windows 7 then use this:
Download 7-Zip from SourceForge.net
If you have 64-Bit Windows 7 then use this:
Download 7-Zip from SourceForge.net
After 7-Zip is installed you can select multiple .zip files, right-click on them, navigate to the 7-Zip pop-up menu, and choose the:
Extract to "*\" option .
This will extract each .zip file into its own folder named after the zip file.
