enabling snipping tool in Win7 starter-pack

  1. enabling snipping tool in Win7 starter-pack

UNlike Win7, Win7 Starter Pack does not display SnippingTool in Accessories. Yet c:\windows\system32\snippingtool.exe exists I could not find a SERVICE to turn it on and it is not listed amongst the tickable Window Components. So how can it be enabled, despite Micro$oft's with-holding of functionality ?

  2. What happens if you open it? Does Snipping Tool start or do you get an error message?

Download and run Dependency Walker against snippingtool.exe, see what errors it shows. On my Win 7 Pro X64 system I get two errors for the same file which appear to be normal as Snipping Tool works okay for me.
