Using IE9 and W7 - Some web pages, such as my bank, only display on the left of my screen, how can I get them to be centred?
Before doing that, you must determine what is causing it. If the site is having problems, you don't need to make adjustments on your side.how can I get them to be centred?
Have you tried putting IE9 in compatibility mode for that site? If it is a small bank, they may not have updated their site software yet - although they have had plenty of time by now.
If you don't mind sharing the bank name and website, we can see if it displays properly (no account numbers!) just the bank's home page (you can send to me via PM if you like).
You might try an alternative browser like Google Chrome or Firefox. I also am running Windows 7 and IE9, but whenever I run into a site that does not display properly, I call up my alternative browser to see if it displays properly there.
Have you scanned for malware?
I mainly use SlimBrowser and it is the same there. The banks in question are Santander and NatWest, although some other websites display in the same way. I'm sure I once saw a tools option somewhere which allowed the user to check a box for displaying in the centre of the screen.
I'm having the same thing on those sites for firefox 5 & 3, opera 11 & 10, safari 5, & IE 8. This is on 2 computers. I don't know what to tell you but it seems to be something with the sites.

I'm not sure I see a problem. I have no problem viewing the websites for those two banks with IE9 or Chrome 13.0. You are getting the full page, right? That is, half of the page is not missing off the edge of your monitor, right? It is just not centered, but "justified" to the left edge.
I think that is intentional for users who bank with smartphones and small screen tablets.
Yes it's not like it was cut off just on the very edge which really doesn't look right. But if it is not cropped off for him then it appears to be the site so there isn't anything he can do about it.
Yeah, from here, nothing was cut-off or hidden off the edge of the screen.
