I have a new HP laptop run on Windows 7, and i find that when i go to the bbc weather page i can only view the maps on the 5 day weather forcast. on any other computer below the map is the daily write-up for the weather. Mine just shows a large pale blue area where the writing should be? don't find this problem on any other web pages but then if text is missing I guess i won't know it missing! any ideas on what to tell the computer to show the missing text pls?

Try selecting the text in that area with your mouse, see if it shows up that way. If so then it's white on white and invisible (or blue on blue or whatever color that area is).
