Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit ( retail Copy ).

Broni has helped so much to put my mind at ease over the last few days and I happy if he's happy that nothing malicious infected my PC.

But on reboot of my PC, every so often I keep getting this message, "Explorer.EXE playing log off sound", appearing.

The erratic behaviour of the PC only started a couple of weeks ago.

What does the message mean, how do I resolve it as I have become convinced it is part of the reason for the erratic behavior of my PC?

Did you change the default sound? This is for Vista but it may apply - MS KB.

No I didn't.

Just clicked link, followed instructions and changed it to "none", see how that goes, thanks.
