Why does the error message appear to be related to AMD and not INTEL?:

Also, there might some proprietary elements that have not been properly installed for your particular model which may be creating your issues. Your list of recently installed items suggested a recent install or re-install? Did you have proper Toshiba installation disks for W7 64bit or did you load W7 from some other source that may in fact be seen to be an illegal copy or result in incomplete supporting software needed for that particular model.

Can I wipe win 7 off the hard drive and install a Licensed copy of XP ser Pack 2?
I called the computer repair shop and the guy is not taking my calls. I am kinda
upset with the whole ordeal. Thank for all the help so far.
Yes you can as long as XP is specific to your laptop. But, be aware that getting all your critical updates current will be a non-trivial task. Can I wipe win 7 off the hard drive and install a Licensed copy of XP ser Pack 2?
Keep in mind that XP is fast becoming obsolete. I was one of those that was going to hold off going to W7 at all cost (nothing wrong with XP). Then Microsoft (MS) issued a critical update for XP that made my main PC unusable (unbootable). They claimed that a rootkit (I remain unconvinced) on my PC completely made my PC not easily fixable (if at all) in the presence of that update.
I reluctantly moved to W7 (over 1 year now) while keeping a copy of XP on an older PC. Since then, W7 has gained my significant appreciation for enhanced functionality and become my preferred environment for many solid reasons.
XP in contrast is becoming less and less appealing and trustworthy (dated O/S and increasing limited remaining useful life). The MS support demise for XP has begun with IE9 not compatible with XP. Stay tuned for more of that to come to push all the non-converts over to W7 by which time W8 will surface.
I called Toshiba and they gave me a few things to try.
First off I wanted to restore my pc to orig factory settings.
They told me to hold down the 0 when booting up and it would give me
a warning, and ask if i wanted to restore to orig factory settings.
It didn't work, so I ordered the discs. I hope the factory restore discs will work
