Homebuilt PC freezes and emits a low frequency buzzing sound from the speakers.
Hello all, it has been 4-5 years since I posted on this forum as a I bought a macbook pro. But I've missed windows so I built my own computer on a few days ago, everything has been running decently. Here are my specs:
AMD Phenom x4 965
Corsair XM3 DDR3 1600 8 GB
MSI 880-E45G
old WD Caviar 200Gb HDD =]
TSSTCORP DVDR/W
Thermaltake 6002 PSU (TR2 Series)
eVGA GTX 460 se
Windows 7 Ultimate (legit copy)
So those are my specs, no OCing yet, case has two fans, I have the stock cooling kit on the CPU for now. But here are a few of the issues I have:
1. Whenever I play SC2 on Ultra, it freezes and emits a low frequency buzzing noise, this is highly alarming to me as I have a gut feeling that it is the gfx card. But I was playing games on this computer yesterday and the day before and SC2 was running flawlessly on extreme settings (the highest)
2. I'm getting the BSOD and the error is MEMORY_MANAGEMENT, I dont think it is a hardware issue as the sticks are brand new and they were the ones recommended for overclocking on the motherboard.
3. I can't hear sound played from I.E. or chrome, so thats not too big of a deal but its kind of embarrassing.
Let me know what you guys think.
