    Dear Experts

    I have got windows 7 64 bit installed.
    Recently I have been experiencing this problem whenever I log in to a Yahoo messenger and click on Yahoo Mail icon the below error message pops us :

    there was a problem sending the command to the program

    I tried to Google it but I could not find a solution to my problem although I

    tried most of the suggestion that I found through my Google search



    Uninstalled and installed Yahoo


    Associate HTTP and HTTPS to firefox


    Enable pops up

    Edit : I realized now if I want to open a saved html file same message pops up

    I'm confused then. Why did you include that link? Did you try the fix suggested to fix the file association for http and https?

    The reason I included the link to sevenforums.com thread to tell that I have tried many suggested solutions without any success, because one of the forum's rule don't post a question without googling for it first

    Yup, read right over that, sorry.

    Are there any links you click on that work or is it a total failure for http and https links, saved or as links in web pages or E-mail?

    What do you see if you right click on a saved html file. For me it looks like this:

    htmlContext.jpg
