hello you have probly had this question b4 so my oppologies in advance if you have
i have just had my descktop changed from vista to windows 7 i now find i have problems with certain items saying cant do this due to missing dciman32.dll
this is driving me mad i cant use scanner or other items i have spent a lot of money on this and would not like to have to spend more please help if you can

The October 2009 stability and reliability update for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 is available.

If the Stability update doesn't fix it, dciman32.dll should be in C:\Windows\system32, is it there? If not, open an Elevated Command Prompt and run System File Checker.

Type sfc /scannow and press Enter

Let SFC run to completion, see if that fixes the problem.
