I have a Dell Studio, and a second monitor. I now need to install 3rd monitor a DYNEX, I connected hdmi cable to laptop but the screen on the 3rd monitor says NO SINGAL. What am I missing?

Do I have to do anything in settings. I already extended monitor to 1 o 3.
Appreciate an feedback.

What graphics card are you using . If its a radeon you need to set it up using Eyefinity which support three monitors.
