i keep getting the bluescreen.. saying kernel data inpage error..

We need the exact error message and number of the error message to help narrow the focus. This problem can be caused by many things but is typically caused by hardware drivers. Have you made any recent changes? Are there any errors shown in Device Manager? Do you get a BSOD in Safe Mode?

Does everything work otherwise? When did this problem start? If just in the last couple days, you might try System Restore. I would also use Disk Cleanup to clean the clutter from the disk, especially if low on free disk space. If the computer is over a year old, and disk space was low, I would run defrag too - in Safe Mode also for the most efficient defragging.
