This place has never failed to help me in my hours of need and I much appreciate your thoughts on the following problem which is causing me much frustration!

Right....

Running Windows 7 through the free upgrade program about a year or so ago installed over vista.

Has been working fine up until today, it seems.

Now all I get, literally every 10 seconds is the "Windows Explorer has stopped working" warning followed by the "Windows Explorer is restarting..." window.

This is unrelenting, it never stops!

So any thoughts?

Equipment:
Dell Studio 1640 Laptop
I use Chrome.

So for anybody else having the same problem.

Run cmd.exe as an administrator

type sfc /scannow

wait

fixed!
