Why is there a magnifying glass beside the links instead of the Mcafee green tick?

When you search, the list of sites comes up, and with Mcafee there is a green tick or red 'x' depending on security of site, I was recently getting an image of a magnifying glass next to the site instead of either. However, it has now gone!

Ah, now I think I understand what you are trying to say. I assume you are referring to McAfee SiteAdvisor, right? I don't use that but according to this, it appears to indicate you can search that site.

If that is not what you mean, we need to know more information, such as what browser and version of Windows you are using. If you do mean SiteAdvisor, someone else who is familiar with it will hopefully stop by and help, or you can post your question at McAfee's SiteAdvisor forum here.
