I am trying to load battlefield 2 into my laptop but I keep getting an error message saying "please make sure you have completed any previous setup and closed other applications". Does anyone know how I can fix this without having to reload windows. I am running Windows 7 professional.

Have you checked to see if you need to install any pre-requisites like certain drivers/Direct X upgrades?
