Hi,

I installed command and conquer red alert 3 on my laptop, but I can't get it to run.

It says there is a DirectX Error in says "please make sure you have directx 9.0 or higher installed. Also verify that your video card meets the requirements and that you do not have hardware acceleration disabled".

I have installed the latest directx and I do not have hardware acceleration disabled. Also, my video card is not exactly good but does meet the minimum requirements.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to get it working??

It would be much appreciated.

Do you have the latest driver for your video card. Severl posts I found with a Google search said that resolved their problem.

Make sure you have the latest drivers as ztruker said and run and post the results so we may be able to see if anything is up. You can run dxdiag by typing dxdiag in the run box. In Windows 7 you can get the run box by holding Windows Key + Run.
