I use IE8 or Slimbrowser. Since installing W7 I can't get my settings right to allow me to access restricted zones. What should my settings be in Security and Privacy to allow me To do so?

The defaults should work, though you may have to add specific sites you know, with 100% certainty to be safe to your trusted zone. Check your firewall or other security software settings too.
