After 6 months of using windows 7 with a Winfast (foxconn) 61502M2MA board I started to get error messages that the bios was not ACPI compatible and during running the machine would power down (not shutdown- the power would switch off) I upgraded the bios to the latest number but the machine is still doing it. The computer is stable out of windows and also in safe mode so I do not think it is the power supply. Has anyone got any ideas what the answer th problem is.

Foxconn have indicated that there is a bios compatibility issue with Windows 7 and that the motherboard is not suitable. Funny how it worked for 6 months. Was there another one of the infamous Windows updates recently?
