I have a Acer Aspire M1640 stock, i haven't added anything to it. I'm running Windows 7 home basic, but I would like to install Windows XP. I have the disk, and have attempted to several times, but every time it starts the actual instillation i get the blue screen. It's a stop error and it says I should run a check disk. I know that my problem isn't with the hard drive, or my XP disk, so I'm at a loss of what to do. help please!!
