Unable to find operating system
I installed Windows 7 Professional on a new hard drive in my computer. All of my programs were working and ever thing was wonderful.
Now the bad part. The computer had three hard drive prior to me adding the new drive for installing Windows 7. One of the hard drives was a SATA drive which was recognized in the device manager but not in "my computer". My thoughts were to delete the SATA drive that was showing up in the device manager and physically remove it from the computer. After I removed the drive from the device manager and computer, I am not able to boot up the computer. When I attempted to do a repair the drive shows up in the repair window but without a location.
So the computer does not know where to look for the operating system.
Any thoughts or suggestion on how to fix.
Thanks

I have determined that the Windows 7 operating system is installed on the SATA Drive which I had removed.
How do I change the BIOS so that the SATA Drive will be recognized as the system drive.
Do I need to change the drive letter of the SATA drive?
Thanks for any suggestions

The motherboard,A8n-SLI Deluxe, will not recognize the SATA as the system disk.
Can I put an adapter on the SATA drive converting it so that I can install it as an IDE Drive?
