    Windows 7 Failed to Start

So, I just had Windows 7 installed and I've been reinstalling my programs for a few days. Everything seemed to be working completely normal for a few days, then when I went to turn her back on today I got the devilish black screen that said "WINDOWS FAILED TO START. YOU CAN TRY SYSTEM RESTORE" or whatever it is that it said. I have everything on another hard drive still, so I said what the hell. I ran the System Restore, and except for a few settings that were switched back to default, everything was A-ok.

My question is: do I have to worry about this everyday from now on, and why did it happen in the first place??? Maybe my laptop wasn't good enough for the upgrade? The computer guy said it was.

Before you ask, yes I have Anti-virus software and yes I do Windows Updates and yes I will post a Hijack This log if you need me to.

PS. ALso, the computer was restored to before I downloaded the CAPICOM update from Windows. I'm not sure what it is, but perhaps my notebook didn't like it!
